The
Series of Specialized Chinese Textbooks for Foreigners Studying in China is designed for foreigners with elementary Chinese proficiency studying Science, Western Medicine, Business, Traditional Chinese Medicine and other relevant academic subjects in China. It aims to teach the foreigners skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing necessary for their study in the above-mentioned academic fields and have them master the basic vocabulary, word formation, expressions and sentence patterns to prepare them for the coming college education.
This is an intensive textbook for science and technology in the Series of Specialized Chinese Textbooks for Foreigners Studying in China. It is written for foreigners who are learning Chemistry as a preparatory course for their further study in China in the fields of Science, Engineering, Agriculture or Medicine. It covers all the important knowledge taught in middle school Chemistry classes in China and pays attention to the connection with college Chemistry courses. After a semester’s intensive study, pre-college foreign students from different backgrounds can master most of the chemistry knowledge taught in Chinese high schools, thus laying a solid foundation for their college study.
The features of the textbook include: 1. Explanations are given in simple language, and concepts, theorems and specialized terms are provided with English annotations and Chinese pinyin; 2. Every chapter has a summary of key points and a revision test to help students review and reinforce what they’ve learned; 3.
